Ajay Malik

Ajay Malik is a certified yoga teacher with over ten years of experience in guiding students through the deeper dimensions of yoga. His journey began with a personal quest for balance and understanding, which evolved into a lifelong dedication to sharing the essence of yoga beyond its physical form. Over the years, Ajay has cultivated a teaching style that harmonizes mindful movement, proper alignment, and breath awareness with the spiritual and philosophical roots of the practice.

At Ameya, Ajay leads the Philosophy of Yoga classes, helping students explore the ancient teachings that form the foundation of yoga. He believes that philosophy is not just theory but a living wisdom, one that can shape how we move, think, and relate to the world. His sessions invite reflection, dialogue, and self-inquiry, encouraging students to connect traditional texts and principles with their own life experiences.

Ajay’s approach is gentle yet profound, blending knowledge with humility and compassion. He creates a space where practitioners of all levels feel seen, supported, and inspired to grow, not only in their practice but in their understanding of themselves.

Outside the classroom, Ajay continues to study classical yogic texts and modern interpretations, believing that learning is an endless journey. When he’s not teaching or studying, he finds joy in hiking through the mountains, reading, and spending time with family and friends, grounding his teachings in a life of simplicity, balance, and gratitude.
